However, here are my top suggestions in my area that may lead you to other treasures. :]Please keep in mind; these are merely estimates in USD [United States Dollars.]WEST COAST/ NORTHWEST of the United States:* Lan Su Chinese Gardens in Portland, Oregon*Small Morning Ceremony > only $500 !Full-Day Garden Rental [wedding only] > $1,600 - $2,000Full-Day Garden Rental [wedding + reception] > $2,400 -3,200* Idaho Botanical Gardens in Boise, Idaho* > Prices range from $300 - $1,600 depending on contracted time. A 50% deposit is required for reservation > They also have discounted 7-hour rates depending on the day* Kathryn Albertson's Park in Boise, Idaho*> Probably the most gorgeous park in the entire state and only $75 - $100 to reserve a gorgeous stone enclave, surrounded by garden, cattails and a f! ountain.> It can only accommodate about 30 guests in the section I mentioned, but on the open lawn it can hold about 150; No reception is allowed because it's also a Nature reserve* Los Angeles County Arboretum in the outskirts of L.A.*> 50 Guests or Less is only $500 and has a waterfall in the Meadow brook venue [surrounded by garden & lily pads...]> Price goes up to $1,700 for a maximum of 250 guestsThe least expensive *Destination* garden weddings can be found in the following areas:Caribbean: Ocho Rios, Jamaica OR anywhere in Dominica's many Nature Preserves - many venues were under $200Costa Rica: Hidden Valley Inn, Peace Lodge & itâs sister resort seem to be the most popular and least expensive. Eloping costs around $750 for venue, tax, cake, & flowers -- Double the cost for 4+ guests.TIPS:*For gardens at a Destination Wedding, you should go through a Travel agent for sure! They get all the inclusive discounts for their referrals and the agents themselves usually ! don't cost very much.*Saturdayâs are more expensive to reser! ve usually; try a weekday or Sunday perhaps* Non-profit Botanical Gardens, Arboretums, & Nature Reserves tend to be much less expensive than resorts, golf courses, country clubs etc.* Most places in Europe, New Zealand, India & Australia I have found are expensive. I'm sure there are exceptions, but I don't know how many of them are safe!Hope that helps spark some ideas for you. :]I included the most helpful DIY/eHow & garden websites I used in the 'Source' section below....Show more
