Paul Maymi: It is one thing to home school but you can't just take an important subject like english out of your curriculum. You need it if you wanna go to collage and even if you don't it is still an important subject. Don't use homeschooling as a way to slack off in your schooling, it is a way to excel and be more comfortable and self paced in your learning.

Edmund Rappley: First off, the parents/teachers don't need specific jobs, it won't matter. Secondly, if your parents won't home school you, you can take online classes from home. You can't teach yourself out of a text book alone, but you can learn alone if you do the online work. That would probably be the best option for you. As far as classes go, each state has! specific classes that are 100% REQUIRED. The list should be online. I do know that you probably will need to take english. As a side note, don't eliminated core classes, you will regret it. Over half of the students going in to college claim they go to find themselves, so chances are YOU will change career paths. A boring/hard class in middles school or high school will be SO MUCH different once your in college. Trust me. Hope you find something that works for you!...Show more
