Good Hobbies????

Granville Stray: Take up knitting or crocheting. It keeps your hands busy if you are dieting or trying to stop smoking. It relaxes you.Its just plain fun.

Luana Carothers: enroll in the dancing school.

Queenie Ruthers: Scrapbooking...there are no rules. YOu can get as crafty as you want and the scrapbooking pages are cheap like .25 cents.

Shon Almquist: Make a crazy list of all the things you want to try and pick some to try.I like to paint. I don't do it well. But I still like the stillness of it.I sing. Lessons can be expensive but it's fun. You could take an intro singing course.I like to collect things. Sometimes I just cut out pictures of things I want and put them in a book. It's less expensive than eBay and there are no big commitments.I do collages. I pick a theme, dig through magazines to get the pictures, cut, and paste. It's calming and creative.I like to write short stories. It's creative but without the commitment of a novel.I like to cross s! titch. It's easy enough not to stress me and repetitive enough to relax me.If you want to be active but still reduce stress, Yoga is amazing. You could take an acting class. I like acting because I like to express myself and I like to pretend I'm someone different.I read. I'll start one genre, like historical fiction, do some research and read a few books. Then I'll pick another genre and start again. As you can see, I made a list and just starting doing stuff. I'm a bit of a commitment-phobe so I don't do only one hobby....Show more
