What do you like and what do you dislike the most about Houston, Texas :)?

Arleen Bussing: I like the fact that you can use the interstate to get to San Antonio. They have great walking events in Houston. People are friendly and I have several friends who live there. Dislikes: TRAFFIC during traffic rush. They are constantly doing road work. Houston is an indian word that means Interstate Under Construction. HA! They have great food, friendly people but you have to remember there are a LOT of NEW ORLEANIANS who are still there after Katrina and they are creating a crime wave all their own. *sigh*.....And if you have lived in New Orleans for 3 years---you ARE a New Orleanian. It upsets me when folks claim we can't accept those not born in the area. Get a grip #1 Rockets fan---perhaps you should move there and see if they are as welcoming as you have been.God Bless the City that Care forgot (New Orleans) but not the City that forgot to care....Show more

Dee Depung: First off you're not a New Orleanian just because you live in New ! Orleans. My friend is from New Orleans and she is not a Houstonian.LIKES: Loads of Mexican resturants, love them Houston Rockets as you can tell. Love downtown and driving through it (not at night though)DISLIKES: The heat and humidity. I think about everybody would agree with me on this. For the past week our tempatures have been over 100 degrees. On Tuesday we broke a record of 104 degrees and today we broke another record of 102 degrees. Elli Esaw: I love how it has good sports teams, and it's fun to drive through, but I hate how it's in Texas.
