Why are there no vegan cooking shows?

Adan Stribble: Yes it is, but to me popping pills is a cop out from being a vegan, you may as well give up on all foods and pop pills.Dune

Rhett Kaines: personally, i love fake meats!:]

Darwin Ecton: There are several. See my source. If you want more, google vegan cooking shows

Matt Tiry: Someone else posted a similar story a few days ago.http://answers.yahoo.com/question/index;_ylt=AjiDn...I personally think it's a decent idea, but I myself would not eat it.

Bibi Tyron: Actually I love fake meats too, like quorn burgers, soy hot dogs, etc...but I think this would actually still be meat, even though it's grown in a test tube...

Jesusita Dykhoff: A friend just sent me this link, I've only been veggie for about 4 years...but I'm not sure I could eat synthetic meat, my first thought was, ewww! I mean not killing animals wasn't my only reason for stopping eating meat...I just thought I see what some other vegetarians thought about this :Dhttp://w! ww.newsdesk.umd.edu/scitech/release.cfm?Ar......Show more

Zulema Baccam: Fewer than 2% of Americans are vegans, and that number is not increasing. It is not large enough to support a broadcast audience. ∠°)

Mitzie Clough: There might be , you just might not have the channels. Go to youtube and type in vegan, vegetarian, raw foods, etc.... You won't want to shut it off. the first time I discovered how many awesome recipes, people, advice, before and after pictures, videos on everything under the sun concerning veganism, I was up all night watching them.

Tommy Durrenberger: There are vegetarian cooking shows that cook a lot of vegan foods. And, contrary to your belief in your numbers, it's not enough. I have no idea of the count of meat eaters vs vegans but lets say there are 10 million vegans. That means there are 300 million non-vegans. If a non vegan show on cooking can only draw a few million out of a pool of 300 million, h! ow many viewers will a vegan show draw with 1/30th the potenti! al audience.

Geraldo Mccalla: I would like to know too. I think vegan cooking shows would benefit everyone.

Antone Bual: Ellen DeGeneres is a Vegan, and she does a cooking segment in her show, so I guess there's an example.

Sharron Salin: Because the vast majority of Westerners cannot fathom meat-free cooking, let alone with no eggs, dairy, or honey. And television is a business, not a charity.

Vickie Clampett: A woman I was having sexual relations with is pregnant with my child. She is my third cousin and we are both vegans. She is my third cousin via my step dad, so we are not in any way blood related and the child would be perfectly healthy. We just had a friends with benefits relationship and we don't want to be married, but that doesn't mean I want her to get an abortion. Do I have any rights as the father of the child? I mean, can she get an abortion with out my permission? Any advice is appreciated as this has me very distraught....Show more

Ninfa Asby: Well I went on to Google and typed "vegan cooking shows" in the search bar and came up with dozens of links in under 10 seconds. Some examples: Christina Cooks, Vegan Mashup, The Post Punk Kitchen, The Eazy Vegan, The Jazzy Vegetarian. You may even have a local channel with a vegan cooking show.

Esteban Faggett: You are very true and I completely agree. People have started petitioning food network to make one. It would be interesting to have a veg*n cooking show. For now there are videos on YouTube, but I do agree that we need a veg*n cooking show.xxNamaste...Show more

Burt Stoecklin: It depends where you are in the world, but in most places where abortion is legal you do NOT have the right to veto her choice to an abortion...and that's as it should be. You're not the one carrying the baby, you shouldn't get a choice to make a permanent decision about her body.

Blair Abdi: There are multiple ones. There's that fat vegan redheaded deadhea! d with the boyfriend that plays guitar on PBS for instance.Christina Co! oks....Show more

Dorris Homola: There is one on the Cooking Channel: http://www.jasonwrobel.com/tv-show/

Roosevelt Pendill: Maybe as a matter of necessity I would or in a pinch for convenient sake, but overall I would have to say I would do my best to seriously avoid it. Aside from any ethical concerns I believe our bodies are meant to eat natural foods and once science starts altering this equation is when things often get out of balance (and that's putting it politely). I'd trust meat from a natural source more than from a lab any day of the week. However neither is necessary. Our bodies can eat vegan and be more healthy than if we assimilated animal products. So if it ain't broke so to speak why fix it? Besides what are the environmental costs. What kind of energy, land, water, chemical, waste usages would be associated with this practice. My whole intuition is SCREAMING, 'RUN AWAY!!! RUN WHILE YOU CAN.' But hey that's just me. The real question is, what doe! s your inner voice tell you. I believe if we listen close the answer to most of our questions will be answered. In other words, "Still thy mind and know me."...Show more

Lou Rought: You sir are a troll with multiple IDs. If you like raving on, start up your own blog.

Shane Getler: okay what has this got to do with veganism?dont put in your vegan and ask this question in family and relationships

Gaston Edgcomb: Seriously wondered that the other day. Supposedly only 1 million people in america are vegan, and that is not enough viewers to keep a show on the air

Sabra Roers: Sorry bud, you have no legal control over what she does concerning the child unless you get married, which is the best option. If you don't want to do that, then be sure to be a cornerstone in that child's life. Don't be one of those tools that knocks up a girl, then leaves her and the child for destitution. Also, depending on the state, she is entitled to child support, whether o! r not you are married. If you show that you care, and want to be a par! t of the child's life, any reasonable woman will let you make decisions about the child. However, veganism may not be the best choice, the best option is to let him be a kid, and let him make his own mistakes, so he can learn and be the best person he can be. It is nearly impossible to learn from other peoples mistakes unless they affect the individual directly....Show more

Eli Trapeni: Because our sick world is obsessed with meat...

Sheron Perrez: She can do and will do whatever she wants. This kind of stuff must be discussed as a couple but at the end I support women choice to do whatever they want at the end, women must have the final word in this kind of situations. Guys we will never know neither understand the bond between a mother and her child, even we can love our children as well.Another option is to be a single dad... I want to be one :), but I need to adopt or borrow my best friend's uterus for that. It seems you already took that step.Hope you are! ready and good luck on that!...Show more

Marcelle Vanlith: I want to take this supplement because its already in the house and I'm short on money right now and don't want to buy new supplements. So is Nature Made Vitamin B Complex vegan?

Nestor Klan: ah boo hoo, you lay down with her, and you didn't take care, and now you don't wnat this and that and blah blah blah. Her body, her choice.PS next time, post this in the right section. You sound like a right gumball....Show more

Porfirio Gartland: probably not on tv, but on the internet, yes.youtube has a show called. "sexy vegan show" here is the linkhttp://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UwAJHCgIl8c

Emile Okafor: Bait and switch question.

Shaunta Paap: Personally I believe that we already have enough 'Plastic Food' out there whether it is meat, vegetarian or dairy based. It may look good, taste good but is it good? Much of it is shoved into our faces on the pretext that it is OK, however there health iss! ues to consider, And when you think of all illnesses and diseases that ! are linked back to such foods, it is a worrying thought. But then to "Each his Own" as they say....Show more
